- Armstrong et al. 2013) and confirmed by a neurologist. Diagnostic certainty should be at least clinically possible or higher
- as defined by the diagnostic criteria.
- ● Presence of other neurological disorders that could affect speech or hinder the study participation or speech analysis (e.g. epilepsy
- strokes
- active cancer or drug abuse to name a few). ● Presence of respiratory infections or other conditions that could potentially affect the voice. ● Non-fluency in the language of the speech protocol. ● Additionally for the the healthy control cohort: o A personal or familiyal history of neurodegenerative diseases. o Self-reported cognitive decline or clinically significant depression. o Past or current diagnosis of parasomnias or other sleep disorders. o Past or current instances of unexplained olfactory dysfunction
